Date: Sun 15-May-1990 14:39:16 From: ntmx@vax5.cit.cornell.edu Subject: NeXT Audio and DSP Application In response to the people asking about music projects: I am currently working on a preliminary project (Which is due this week! :-) ) that is using the NeXT as a computer music system. Basically, I am trying to duplicate using the Mac in a computer music class using the DSP and other neat things that the NeXT has. Since there aren't many (actually, none yet) programs out for the cube that handle major music stuff, I have been using what the cube has been bundled with; namely MidiPlay, MidiRecord, Mixscores, MixSounds. I have also been using many Third-party stuff that I have found on the net, such as ensnd, and other things. I have also used Digital Ears to record sounds for use as well.
