Date: Sun 09-Feb-1990 17:21:55 From: Unknown Subject: accents and overwriting in writenow I just read a message on the news concerning underlining in writenow. Does anybody knows if some work is being done to provide accents and ovewriting capabilities ? Applications are obvious for: - non english spelling - mathematical notations I wish I did not have to take the Mac each time I want to write a formula with some dots or bars, or to simply spell my name correctly. It is amazing, since even the most basic IBM PC and all IBM and Apple editors provide these capabilities. I never said I wanted my NeXT to speak or listen to me, but I want it to handle properly latin and mathematical alphabets.
