Date: Sun 23-Dec-1990 12:58:22 From: lclarke@questor.wimsey.bc.ca (Lawrence Clarke) Subject: Backing up the Hard Disk I'll be receiving my new NeXTstation 68040 machine on Monday, and was wondering what would be the best way to backup the hard disk, so that I could restore only a select group of files from the backup. I ordered the 105 MB disk, so I'd like to delete some of the non-esential stuff, to make room for Mathematica and Improv when there released. But I'd also like to be able to restore some of the Demo's from the backup, when I want to. I have 1.44 meg floppies for the backup, which I plan to do as soon as I get the machine .... Anyone have any ideas .... Much Thanks .... /==============================================================\ | lclarke@questor.wimsey.bc.ca | c/o TRIUMF Operations | | Compuserve: 70441,1776 | 4004 Wesbrook Mall | | Phone: +1 604 275-5902 | Vancouver, British Columbia | | FAX: +1 604 275-4184 | Canada V6T 2A3 | \==============================================================/
