Date: Sun 08-Dec-1990 23:00:06 From: whelan@uhunix1.uhcc.Hawaii.Edu (Jerry Whelan) Subject: 10BaseT on a Slab Now that the new nexts have 10BaseT wiring standard on them, perhaps someone could provide a little information on this standard. My particular situation has my dorm room equipped with one school supplied 386 using 10BaseT to talk to a unix server. If I wanted to install a slab in the room, would it be possible to just daisy chain the slab to the 386, like I could if I were using thin-net? I have heard that 10BaseT uses a hub topology. Anyone know for sure?
