Date: Sun 19-Apr-1990 05:43:17 From: jecaplan@former.Princeton.EDU (Joshua Elliot Caplan) Subject: Application and PostScript Synchronicity I'm working on a debugger for the PostScript language, and I want to use the NeXT's user interface as a front end for the program. What I want to know is, how can I coordinate the execution of PostScript code in the Display PostScript interpreter and the execution of the Obj-C code for the application? This synchronicity becomes vital when implementing things like breakpoints and watch-variables. If anyone can point me to documentation on the subject or recommend people to ask, I would be most appreciative. I've already perused the Display PostScript Extensions, Client Library, and pswrap manuals, and all references to PostScript in the Preliminary Release of the 1.0 NeXT Technical Reference, to no avail. jecaplan@phoenix | Joshua Caplan '91 jecaplan@former | Department of Computer Science jec@k2 | Princeton University
