This is Capture-Entire-Screen-to-PS-file? in view mode; [Up]

Date: Sun 13-Sep-1989 15:27:07 From: Unknown Subject: Capture Entire Screen to PS file? Has anyone developed any nifty way of capturing the entire screen of the NeXT-- not just one window from the screen-- into a PostScript file? Note that since I don't have a NeXT printer directly attached, I really need to be able to get the output to a file (not just to a printer). Why would anyone want such a routine, you ask? Well, in the course of preparing some documentation, it sure would be nice to be able to show what the screen actually looks like at various points in time -- much the way Bruce Webster did in his NeXT Book. [A close inspection of those screen "illustrations" makes me distinctly suspicious that they were shot with a camera -- anyone know for sure?] There are also some examples in the 0.9 users guide that look like the sort of thing I need to do, so presumably it *is* possible. Can anyone help me out with some details?
