Date: Sun 11-Sep-1989 01:28:31 From: Unknown Subject: C++, G++ and Objective C This question may have been discussed here before, but as I am new here, please no flames. If you need get rid of your energy in such a case just use it to look through the archives and forward to me what has been said. 1) Where are the REAL differences between Objective C and C++, G++ etc.? I mean NOT the different syntax, but abilities etc. 2) Is there a plan to have g++ for the NeXT? If so, will it support the IB and NeXTStep? 3) Is there anything like a C++ to Objective C translator out there? In this context, but not directly related: Are there any plans to port andrews to the NeXT? Are there any plans to have an object Pascal (like Turbo 5.5 or if it has to be, Quick Pascal ?) Thanks Ron >From: cs141043@brunix (Ronald Antony)
