Date: Sun 04-Oct-1989 13:39:58 From: Unknown Subject: swapfile, X I have two questions concerning the NeXT machine (which I happen to like very much). 1. Sometime last week, my swapfile grew to 111 Mbytes. How can I QUICKLY reduce this to the low watermark of 20 Mb (other than rebooting)? 2. Now that MIT has finished a port of X to the NeXT, how do we go about getting it. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shu-Wie F Chen Department of Computer Science swfc@mendelssohn.cs.columbia.edu Columbia University >From: lacsap@mit-amt.MEDIA.MIT.EDU (Pascal Chesnais)

If I hear anything about it being ready for distribution I will post it to this newsgroup. pasc -- Pascal Chesnais, Research Scientist, Electronic Publishing Group Media Laboratory, E15-348, 20 Ames Street, Cambridge, Ma, 02139 (617) 253-0311 >From: sarima@gryphon.COM (Stan Friesen)
