Date: Sun 05-Oct-1989 21:06:56 From: Unknown Subject: dir & ls in ftpd under 1.0 Under 0.9, 'dir' under ftp on the NeXT didn't work, though 'ls' did. Under 1.0, 'dir' works fine but 'ls' returns results that, for all intents and purposes, are randomly ordered (was 'dir' fixed at the expense of 'ls'?). This appears to be a problem in ftpd as when using ftp to non-NeXTs, 'ls' works fine and fails when using ftp into the cube from a non-NeXT host. Can someone verify this behaviour at another site so I know its not something in our configuration? Thanks!
