Date: Sun 28-Nov-1989 12:45:57 From: Unknown Subject: dearchiving windows I want to create template windows using IB and sub class them. These windows have some controls, etc. normally one would say [ x new ] and add the controls in the super class then in the subclass add its stuff. tis what i want to do but building controls and other gadgets without IB is a pain. (I want to dynamically create and destroy things.) i tried creating a window with IB then declaring it a subclass. I wrote a 'awake' method for the sub class. When it was dearchived awake wasn't called. how do i do this? ==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+==+== ..umbc3.umbc.edu!tron!kgw2!dennisg + Dennis P.
