Date: Sun 02-Nov-1989 18:38:38 From: Unknown Subject: Keyboard/ASCII codes and Fonts I am trying to do some work with Sonata font and am having trouble figuring out how to access all the characters. It seems that certain keyboard mappings are intercepting the key combinations and exchanging fonts on me (for example, SHIFT-ALT-3 generates the "equivalence" symbol instead of a double sharp). Now, have I missed something significant in the docs, or is there not a way to specify ASCII codes directly, like the PC's ALT-keypad combinations. Or will this involve a more meesy process involving keyboard mappings? If I'm missing the obvious, please treat me gently.
