Date: Sun 02-Nov-1989 00:04:45 From: Unknown Subject: GNU and User Group Hello all. Two topics today. GNUs and User Group. 1. Porting GNU Has anyone successfully ported GNU standard distribution with gmake, g++, et al? If so, please write me at erica@kong.gatech.edu. 2. A new (informal) user group at georgia tech : BuzzNUG I'm delighted to announce the inception of "BuzzNUG", the Georgia Tech-based Next User Group. (Buzz is Georgia Tech's Yellow-Jacket Mascot - if you were interested). I (we) envision this as a focus for creating an intermittant (6x/year probably) newsletter on topics NeXT for internet distribution. This would allow a forum for "how-to" articles of slightly more length, focus and editing than this newsgroup allows. If you have an interest in a NeXT user group, please send me a mail message at erica@kong.gatech.edu. It would be helpful if you could make suggestions as to what you'ld like the group to "do for you". No affiliation with Ga Tech is immediately necessary. Looking forward to responses -- Erica. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Erica J.
