This is BIND-4.8.1-for-NeXT-1.0 in view mode; [Up]

Date: Sun 23-Nov-1989 04:36:42 From: Unknown Subject: BIND 4.8.1 for NeXT 1.0 It's been running for a week with no problems, so I guess it's safe to release. The following files are available for anonymous FTP from sutro.sfsu.edu: pub/NeXT-BIND-4.8.1.tar.Z merged from the public BSD networking sources release named.tar and include.tar; contains NeXT-specific Makefiles and a prebuilt libresolv.a. You'll get a few warnings when you compile this, but it's nothing to be concerned about. pub/nslookup.tar.Z This is "just" the nslookup program from BIND 4.8.1 in executable form, with the help file and man page. This should run on any NeXT that uses Domain Name Service, whether or not it runs named. Even scrawny 8MB cubes. Warning: this tarchive contains absolute pathnames so zcat nslookup.tar|tar xvpf - can install everything. -=EPS=- >From: jacob@gore.com (Jacob Gore)
