Date: Sun 19-Jun-1989 17:21:47 From: Unknown Subject: bogus uptime info When I do a "rup" of a next machine from a Sun (OS version 3.5 or 4.0) or BSD 4.3 Vax, I get bogus info in the "up time" and "load average" fields, e.g., sun% rup next next up 7107 days, 19:04, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 The inverse situation yields next% rup sun This occurs on three different NeXT systems. All three can "rup" each other correctly. Has anyone got a fix to let the NeXT work better with Suns or Vaxes?
