Date: Sun 22-Jun-1989 19:12:42 From: Unknown Subject: batch printing WriteNow documents I'm sure that anyone who has wanted to do some programming on the NeXT has decided to start printing out the technical documentation online so that they can peruse through it at their convenience. True, it is available to get the same documentation at the developer's course, but if that's not an option, you have to print the documents yourself. Okay, here's the problem. There are quite a few file to be printed and it's not that terrible to have to open each chapter in WriteNow and send it to the printer, but when you finally come to the directory containing the class specs for objects in AppKit, you immediately desire some way to spool all of those documents to the printer. Since they're binary files, you can't print them using lpr. So, rather than open each file individually, is there any other, hopefully easier, way of printing a WriteNow document? (Unfortunately, there is no "print" command in the Browser that will launch an application and print the selected files). >From: chari@nueces.UUCP (Christopher M. Whatley)
