This is Terminal-"sources"-.login;-Remote-Terminal in view mode; [Up]

Date: Sun 18-May-1989 05:28:13 From: Unknown Subject: Terminal "sources" .login; Remote Terminal I was trying out 0.9 when much to my surprise, I discovered that Terminal sources ".login" (my shell is /bin/csh, of course). I would prefer that this not happen. Is there something I can change. Can I put the environmental variables in another file? What's the best way to open a terminal to a remote host? I would like to fire up a remote terminal from the dock. The only way I know how to do this currently is to drag /usr/hosts/host to the dock. Is there a better way?
