Date: Sun 14-May-1989 06:10:34 From: Unknown Subject: GNU source Some questions on the GNU software shipped with the NeXT: The 0.9 online documentation for the Compiler and Debugger says that the sources to the NeXT-modified GNU software are available for a distribution fee. Does anyone know how much? Alternatively, are any of the ftp archives going to be making it available? Is the emacs on the NeXT an unmodified 18.52? It appears to be... Has anyone written a NeXTstep interface to emacs so we can use the alternate key as a meta-key? (at least C-spc works now.) How about getting rmail to understand lip service attachments? =) Nick Nick Thompson - nrt@cs.brown.edu Whenever the media covers anything I know something about, they botch it completely. I see no reason to assume their record with things I know nothing about is any better. >From: gore@eecs.nwu.edu (Jacob Gore)
