Date: Sun 28-Jun-1989 19:43:57 From: Unknown Subject: New additions to J.cc.purdue.edu NeXT archive I have added an archive of this newsgroup to pub/next/news. There are currently two large compressed files which comprise all of the "interesting" postings to this group (and probably a few that aren't, but that's life). I'll try to keep it up to date by adding groups of articles every so often. I've also added the WriteNow sources for a set of transparencies/handouts which I used in teaching an Introduction to Objective C short course. The course took about two hours to teach and assumes familiarity with C. Most of the materials are scavenged from the on-line documentation, slimmed down to provide an intro without flooding the beginner. The file is in pub/next/docs/Objc.wn.tar.Z - it is a compressed directory created by WriteNow.
