Date: Sun 06-Feb-1989 18:29:34 From: Unknown Subject: sun binaries good evening mr. phelps: several of us here at GaTech have noticed that Sun 3.x binaries run on the NeXT machine, with some degree of success. the only problem that i have seen, is that these binary files do not read the date properly. I cannot claim, however, that an exhaustive search for incompatabilities has been attempted. your comments are welcome. My understanding is that this compatibility will cease as of 0.9. Has a decision been made on this? Anyone want to clarify? >From: mcdonald@uxe.cso.uiuc.edu
