This is Motorola-DSP56k-software in view mode; [Up]

Date: Sun 27-Feb-1989 20:34:29 From: Unknown Subject: Motorola DSP56k software As I understand it, the only Motorola software going to be bundled with future NeXT releases is the 56k assembler. It seems to me that given the potential of the Cube as a development system for 56k applications, it would be to Motorola's benefit to allow NeXT to bundle the linker, simulator and C compiler with the assembler. Also it seems that, given that academia is the target market for NeXT, the possibility that a public domain linker and simulator would be developed should not be discounted too heavily. Is there anyone from Motorola reading this bboard who can comment on this? >From: UH2@PSUVM.BITNET (Lee Sailer)
