This is the README for InternetCookbook-dictionary.d.tar.gz [Download] [Browse] [Up]

This is a digital dictionary for use with Jargon.app. It's composed of the
collected recipies from rec.food.cooking (about 7M worth of data). I've done
a quick and dirty assimilation of these into the dictionary.

It's not pretty, but it does work.

In order to use this, you'll first need to get Jargon-3.1 from the archives.
(Don't forget to register it!). If you move the Jargon.dictionary out from
the app directory and move in the InternetCookbook.dictionary, you'll then
get recipies rather than jargon when you access the dictionary.

If enough people register Jargon, we'll continue to support it and add
features and add a multiple-document UI, so you won't have to do this
filesystem hacking in order to change dictionaries.

Who knows, maybe we'll even open up the dictionary API so you can make your
own... :-).

You can find the dictionary at:

hasc is a slow link. Avoid it if you can.
