Fri Apr 15 04:54:17 GMT-0700 1994 STORY: Written in the spring of 1993, this document was created to help me manage the many, many printing jobs I was doing regarding the 3.x NS dev docs. This little puppy saved me many pages of paper, and I got 2 sided print out of the deal. Can't beat that, save a tree and eat a beaver. The PageMergeAndPrint.sense document does two things. It allows you to take .ps files and print alternating pages. The limitation is that the .ps file needs to have been produced from the "Save" option in the Print Panel. The second page of this utility document allows you to "Merge" .ps files into one. I have had 60-70% success with it, and most of the time .ps files generated from Preview (ie. saving from the Preview print panel) do NOT work. So keep trying and experimenting. The rule of thumb is, if you can print to a .ps file from your application, do so. It will likely work to merge such documents. Regards, Todd Anthony Nathan <todd@thoughtful.com> PS. My opinions are that of me, myself and only mine. Please do not get confused and think I speak for someone else. Using the NS 3.2 UNIX sum program 44188 53 PageMergeAndPrinter.sense.compressed
