The FoneTones.compressed distribution is a HyperSense XModule
for generating telephone tones. Sound files are used, and
thus this should work on any NS computer system with appropriate
sound hardward (DSP is NOT required).

Included is the FoneTones.sense document, which is a complete
ripoff of a pre-existing (circa late-91) phone dialing interface.

This stuff was done about a month ago. Thanks to Doug for
his understanding during the 1/2 day long session of recording
the 'just right' tone sounds. It drove everyone crazy ;')

I hope you learn from and/or enjoy this distribution.

Regards,

Todd Anthony Nathan

PS. HyperSense is required. Get it from cs.orst.edu, or Thoughtful
Software. Also, there are .snd files included in the
distribution which need to be installed in the appropriate
directory. See the Specification.rtfd for details
on where the .snd files need to be installed.

Here is the checksum of the compressed distribution

Using NS 3.2 UNIX sum program
