MagnaCharta version 0.51 December 7 1997. This is an update of version 0.5, and fixes a bug which made version 0.5 unusable on most machines. MagnaCharta is a powerful solution for technical analysis of stock trends. It is currently in beta, which means that it is not finished, and may not work well on all computers, and that both suggestions and bug reports are welcome. It has only been tested on OPENSTEP for Mach 4.2, on Intel hardware. MagnaCharta uses the MiscKit, so you have to have that installed to run the program. It can currently only load ascii data, formatted as: YYYYMMDD HI LO CLOSE VOLUME Such data files should have a "mcdata" extension to be recognized by the program. However, data loaders can be added without recompilation, so if you supply me with a specification for a data format, I'll try to make a loader available for download.
