The "Astro" files are based on a friends astrology notes, she has passed away a while back and this program was made in her memory. This is the OpenStep version of an old Atari ST program I made a long long time ago. This OpenStep version was greatly fixed up. The graphics and and some of the text has been greatly improved. There's lot's of color now. Compared to the NEXTSTEP Black and White version I made in 1994. I hope that you enjoy and find this program useful. Please send me comments!!! What's new?: ============ Version 2.0 Ported to OpenStep for MACH. New graphics, added Planets "Astro" file plus lot's of color. INSTALLATION: ============= WINNT: 1. Unpack the software distribution a. open a "Bourne Shell" window b. change directory to location of distribution, for example, C:\temp cd C:\temp c. gunzip the distribution: gunzip TheApp.w.NT.tar.gz d. untar the resulting uncompressed file: tar xf TheApp.w.NT.tar The Package: ============ Version 2.0 comes complete in a tar.gz package. Which includes: - AstroGC.app binary for OpenStep Intel for Windows NT - README.TXT This file - Includes Full Source Code - Intel Windows NT binaries. Compiling: ========== This version includes all the source code necessary to recompile the program from scratch on OpenStep 4.1 or above.
