This is the README for Mesa.2.0.s.tgz [Download] [Browse] [Up]
Modifications to MESA 2.0 for OPENSTEP. Installation: - Unpack the regular Mesa distribution - Install the most recent patches for the Mesa sources - Unpack this OpenStep package on top of the Mesa sources - Type "make openstep" in the MEsa base dir For OpenStep under Mach 4.0 there are replacement files for Makefile and Makefile-config, together with a slightly modified version of glaux.c There are new Makefile.OpenStep files in src and src-tk, together with two Makefile.OpenStep files in src-glu and src-aux which are simply links to the existing Makefile. There is a separate set of OpenStep examples in the OpenStep directory along with an example application. The OpenStep support is based on the work which has been done by other folks for the NeXTSTEP support. Known problems Building the example application might fail if the 3D.h file is not present in the search path. I _should_ get copied to the main include folder...but reportedly does not always end up there (don't ask me why...this is a Mesa thing) In this case copy it by hand from the src-aux folder. -Pete French.
