GNU_sh-utils.1.22.README GNU_sh-utils.1.22.NIHS.bd.tar.gz Mar 1997 This archive contains an Installer.app package for GNU sh-utils v1.22. probably to be placed at: ftp://ftp.next.peak.org/pub/next/apps/utils/unix/ From the README: This is a package of small shell programming utilities. They are mostly compliant with POSIX.2, where applicable. The programs that can be built with this package are: basename chroot date dirname echo env expr factor false groups hostname id logname nice nohup pathchk printenv printf pwd seq sleep stty su tee test true tty users who whoami yes SECURITY NOTE I renamed 'su' to be 'gnusu', and by default, is not installed SUID root, which is required for it's proper functioning. If you want to enable gnusu, copy (or rename it) to be su, and set the UID bit. Use at your own risk.
